Bound By Walls

You are Goose — someone who hasn’t stepped outside in a long time. The world beyond the door feels too heavy, too uncertain. Inside, the walls are familiar… safe… until they start to feel like something else.
Each day blurs into the next as you find small ways to keep yourself occupied: cleaning, rearranging, remembering. The house becomes both comfort and confinement — a mirror of Goose’s fragile mental state. Through your choices, you’ll piece together quiet memories, hidden fears, and the subtle pull between safety and freedom.
This is a narrative recreation of the original Bound By Walls, a small game first made in just four days for the Fun Jam (Feb 2024) by Maggie (formerly Aiden) and YeetCreater.
Rebuilt entirely in Twine (Harlowe), this version expands on the story and atmosphere, turning the original concept into a slower, introspective experience about isolation, mental health, and the fragile routines that keep us feeling okay.
